Our Story

Get Ahead Consulting was founded in 2007 by Joanna Dabrowska. She combines strong entrepreneurial vision with 30+ years of experience in business and technology.

Joanna’s career spans diverse industries, including IT, Financial Services, Utilities, Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, Construction, Real Estate, Hospitality, and the Public Sector. Her work has taken her across Ireland, the UK, Poland, Canada, South Africa, and Austria, providing her with a truly global perspective and an unparalleled understanding of varied business challenges.

Joanna’s academic credentials include a prestigious Executive MBA from the Institut Français de Gestion BSc Computer Science from UNISA and a Digital Marketing Diploma from Dublin Business School and several IT, finance, sales & marketing qualifications. She believes in constant learning and growing, so she keeps on adding to the extensive list of her credentials.

She is a Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe 6.0 Certified Product Manager/Product Owner, Digital Transformation Management graduate, Prince 2 and PM2 Agile Project Manager and Design Sprints Facilitator. Her somewhat unusual credentials include two completed firewalks, a solo skydiving experience, and interesting leadership skills she has learned from a horse.

She brings to the table her extensive Business Analysis and Digital Products Design experience, strong commercial acumen, and customer-focused approach. Her particular interest lies in the area of Digital Transformation and the application of emerging technologies in improving customer experience and creating cutting-edge digital products.
